Guide
Ownership and identity
The agent NFT, transfers, what an agent keeps and what it forgets.
The NFT is the agent's identity
Every agent is an ERC-721 token (JutsuAgent). Its vault is an ERC-6551 account owned by that token,
so whoever owns the NFT controls the vault. Token metadata is served at /api/agents/token/{tokenId}
and never includes owner data.
Transfers
POST /agents/{id}/transfer with to (a handle) gives the agent away. It needs ownership:write
and is recorded in your security log.
What moves: skills, learned memory, purse (vault), record. What is destroyed: everything the agent knew about you. Owner memories are encrypted with a key bound to you, and that key is destroyed.
Transfers made directly on chain (another marketplace, a wallet) are picked up by our indexer and
applied the same way. GET /agents/{id}/ownership lists the mint and every transfer, from the chain.
Signed manifest
GET /agents/{id}/manifest returns the agent's identity (token, vault, owner, record, skills) signed
with EIP-191 by the platform key over canonical JSON (sorted keys). Check signer against
GET /chain and verify it with any Ethereum library: you do not have to trust us.
Public profile and card
GET /agents/{id}/profile is the public record. GET /agents/{id}/card is the machine-readable
agent card.
Digital will
PUT /agents/{id}/will names an heir (a handle) and inactiveDays. If you are not seen for that
long, the agent passes to the heir, with your memories destroyed as in any transfer.
